Machias Savings Bank Expands New Hampshire Commercial Banking Team with Two Key Hires

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MANCHESTER, N.H. (June 5, 2025) — Machias Savings Bank is proud to announce the continued growth of its Manchester, New Hampshire commercial banking team with the addition of Connor Theroux as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer, and Nicole Howard as Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer.

Their additions expand the New Hampshire team to four dedicated bankers, also including Ben Wheeler, SVP, Regional Market Manager and Emily Ricard, VP, Treasury Services Officer, serving clients across the Granite State.

Connor Theroux has worked in commercial banking for 15 years, supporting New Hampshire businesses in both commercial & industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate (CRE) lending. His background also includes credit analysis and accounting.

A New Hampshire native, Theroux holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ithaca College and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. He serves on the board of a youth sports nonprofit in his hometown of New London and is an active coach. Theroux also serves on the Credit Committee for the Community Development Finance Authority in Concord.

Nicole Howard brings more than a decade of experience in commercial lending, working with businesses across industries to deliver customized financial solutions.

Howard holds a degree in Accounting from Purdue University Global and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a graduate of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Greater Manchester Class of 2024 and currently serves as Board Treasurer for Media Power Youth.
