What Do I Need to Apply for an Account Online?
To apply for a commercial Exceptional Checking Account, you must be at least 18 years old, a Maine resident or an existing MSB customer. You can be a signer or beneficial owner, which is any individual who, directly or indirectly through a contract, arrangement or other circumstances, owns 25% of the equity interest of the legal entity. You will need the following documents to open an account:
  • Valid driver's license or state-issued ID
  • Business Tax ID
  • Social Security number
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number
