As Chief Financial Officer, Nick leads balance sheet risk management, liquidity management, forecasting, accounting, finance, investments, and regulatory internal controls. He brings over 25 years of experience in public accounting and senior finance leadership to Machias Savings Bank, including CFO roles in the forest products industry, and nearly two decades with a leading regional accounting and advisory firm specializing in financial institutions.

A licensed CPA and active community volunteer, Nick serves on several boards. Outside of work, he and his high school sweetheart wife enjoy raising their two children, traveling, and spending time outdoors – especially at their lake house – boating, swimming, and riding ATVs.
